Job Sheet: Tinicum
The John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum; Philadelphia, Pa.
Description: This project involved fabricating two 30’ long free standing dioramas depicting many aspects of the local environment in the wildlife refuge.
From a majestic Red Tailed Hawk in a 15’ Black Willow Tree, to lowly aquatic insects, the two dioramas contain many different types of common flora and fauna, in many differnet types of ecosystems. The
displays are used by the Park Rangers to illustrate to visitors many of the things they do at the refuge such as manage water levels, create habitat etc.
